Neo Advertising – first swiss OOH player with a sustainable certification
In the ambition to adopt social and ecological responsibility in the long term, we have been formalizing our engagements and initiatives in this area.
On June 23rd 2017 we were succesfully assigned the swiss certification ‘EcoEntreprise Développement durable et Responsabilité sociétale’, audited by SGS, Société Générale de Surveillance.
EcoEnterprise certification requires regular monitoring and continuous improvement of measures, commitments and results and we continue to transform our organisation in a structured and comprehensive way. The whole team is currently working on the preparation of the follow-up audit that we will pass in May 2018, also ensured by SGS.
In order to position itself as an exemplary player, the company wishes to intensify its commitment in order to obtain the “EcoEntreprise Excellence” level in the next 2 years.
All coworkers of Neo Advertising are proud of the sustainable approach of the company. We are committed to meeting our commitments every day by integrating sustainability at the heart of our growth strategy.
Commitment
We are actively involved in climate protection
With a strong desire to act and concerned about our environmental impact, our entire company has been climate neutral since 2020. We therefore carried out an assessment of our own greenhouse gas emissions with the ecoLive office, the French-speaking representative of the non-profit foundation myclimate, which enables us to reduce our emissions continuously and in a targeted approach.
Our commitment to the climate
For several years Neo Advertising has been moving forward to improve its climate impact. We have previously sponsored various associations such as Aquaverde in Brazil, Les Miels de Stéphanie (a beekeeper from Geneva) and The SeaCleaners (a project led by Yvan Bourgnon).
Climate neutrality
In our desire to see things through to the end, we take responsibility for all emissions that are not immediately reduced. This is why we are sponsoring 2 climate protection projects: the renaturalization of peat bogs in Switzerland, in order to strengthen CO2 capture, and the preservation of forests in Rwanda, by democratizing the use of efficient wood-burning stoves. These projects are particularly close to our hearts because, in addition to reducing global CO2 emissions, they help to protect biodiversity and improve local living comfort by contributing to gender equality and children’s schooling.
